Absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and scenic views. The space was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and welcoming—Our host was a 5-star host—very responsive and thoughtful. She even came by personally to welcome us, which made our stay feel extra special. Chipman’s Wharf is the reason for being in this area and such an easy drive to and from Milbridge. We truly enjoyed our perfect night stay! Would love to schedule another visit but stay longer.

The cabins are very clean and comfortable. They appear to have been built recently, and I mean that in a good way. The view of the water was phenomenal. I was only there for one night, and I was able to cook my family a dinner on a outside charcoal grill, we made smores in the fire pit. There was plenty of firewood. There is a close-by store that I was able to drive to to get the supplies for the cook out. In the morning I made breakfast in the cabin on the large gas stove. There is a large microwave and full-sized refrigerator. The cabins are just an hour from Acadia, which is what brought up to the area. Cathy was a very good host, very responsive.

What a beautiful spot! Gorgeous sunsets over the river. Cathy’s place was just as described, very quiet, clean and comfortable. Great location for exploring the Down East area from Bar Harbor to Lubec. Super easy check-in and check-out. We would definitely stay again.

My family rented two cottages as part of a larger extended family gathering. For several years my siblings and I rented the Ocean Spray Cottages, and this year we decided to share the joy with other family members. The sunsets over the tidal river are breathtaking. Combine that with the clean Downeast air, the coziness and cleanliness of the cottages, and you have the perfect location for a relaxing, memorable vacation. Cathy always welcomes us with open arms, and we are already looking forward to next year!!

It’s always amazing to wake up with a view, but a view that is 30ft from your front door? AMAZING! We had four adults in her Bear cabin for a weekend and we felt cozy, safe, and right at ease. We were close to many trails, sights and amenities. They are working hard each day to keep making this place better and better, but we still have no complaints.

So cute! Beautiful mornings and right on the water, saw lots of cool birds. Note the cabins are right next to each other so private in that you’re out in nature but you do have neighbors! Everyone was very respectful of space though and it was very quiet.

Wonderful! I recommended yall to my Nana who’s staying in October and had to try it out myself. So thankful the dates lined up! David and I loved staying in Chickadee cabin — such a beautiful view to enjoy morning tea, and possibly the quietest place I have ever slept. We are from Portland and were visiting kids and grandkids who live in Addison, so we’ll be back from time to time. We wished we had more time to stay this week, it is such a lovely time of year there. Thank you so much!
